New Phase of Smart Lab Project

Introduction
The Race Foundation’s Smart Lab Project is a transformative initiative aimed at providing a modern and innovative learning environment for young talents. In January 2025, significant progress was made on the leased hall designated for the Smart Lab, as the foundation continued its work to ensure the facility is ready for educational activities.

Project Updates

1. Watersealing and Screeding
   To protect the hall from the effects of heavy rain, watersealing screeding was carried out. This not only ensured the durability of the structure but also enhanced its aesthetic appeal. The hall now presents a visually appealing and functional space, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to creating a conducive learning environment.
2. Acquisition of Furniture
   Thirty banquet seats have been acquired for the hall, marking a significant step toward equipping the space for educational use. The seating arrangement is designed to provide comfort and support for learners during training sessions.
3. Preparation for Full Activation
   The Smart Lab is gradually taking shape as plans are underway to procure and install essential equipment and materials, including:

Projectors, Computer tables, Whiteboards, Air conditioning systems, Computers and other technological tools.

Educational materials
These items will transform the hall into a fully functional Smart Lab, capable of fostering digital literacy and talent development.

Assessment Visit
On January 23, 2025, members of the Race Foundation conducted an assessment visit to the site. They were impressed with the progress recorded so far, noting the readiness of the hall for the next phase of the project. Their observations reinforced confidence in the project timeline and the foundation’s commitment to excellence.
